Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified and responsible pharmacist to join our pharmacy in Benin City.
• The successful candidate will oversee the dispensing of medications, provide professional guidance to customers, and ensure that all pharmaceutical services are delivered according to professional and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Provide clear instructions and counseling to patients on medication use.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Maintain proper records of medications and pharmacy inventory.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
• Monitor drug storage conditions and expiry dates.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants or technicians when necessary.
• Provide advice to customers on minor health concerns and suitable medications.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and dosage instructions.
• Good communication and patient counseling skills.
• Attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
• Ability to manage pharmacy inventory and records efficiently.
• Basic computer knowledge for pharmacy record systems.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional conduct.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

Experience:

• Minimum of 1–3 years experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong professional training may also be considered.

Other Requirements:

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Benin City.
• Must possess strong professional integrity and reliability.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.

Remuneration

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 per month. 
• Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
