Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our esteemed organization within the Security and Investigations industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our facilities, employees, and visitors.
• As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in deterring and responding to potential security threats, thereby ensuring a safe atmosphere conducive to business operations.
• Your keen observational skills and ability to react swiftly to emerging situations will be crucial in safeguarding our assets and personnel. You will implement and monitor security protocols while collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Exceptional communication skills will be required for reporting incidents and providing clarity during crises.
• Furthermore, your integrity and strong ethical standards will be fundamental as you represent our organization's commitment to safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain the security of the premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Respond to alarms and emergency calls, providing swift and effective response to ensure safety and security of life and property.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities and grounds to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed to address incidents and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns from employees and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in security or law enforcement is a plus.
• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position is preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply various security techniques and methods effectively.
• Strong observational skills with the capability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations requires strong decision-making skills.
• Must possess a valid security guard license or be eligible for certification as per local law enforcement regulations.
