NutriK KFZE, a proud subsidiary of the globally recognized Nutriset Group, plays a vital role in producing and distributing high‑quality ready‑to‑use foods that support the treatment and prevention of malnutrition across Nigeria. Our mission is driven by purpose: to help save lives and improve the well‑being of children and families in need. We specialize in the production of essential nutritional products including Ready‑to‑Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), Ready‑to‑Use Supplementary Food (RUSF), and Lipid‑Based Nutrient Supplements (LNS) which support humanitarian and health interventions nationwide.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Operation Manager

Location: Kano

Overall Mission
General objective:

  • The HR Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of HR operations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in the HRIS/ERP, managing payroll and benefits administration, and driving regulatory compliance and policy discipline.
  • This role also owns the grievance handling process and supports document control and HR policy management to sustain a compliant and well-governed organization.

Responsibilties and Task
Day-to-Day HR Operations:

  • Ensure accurate data management within the HRIS/ERP system, including employee records, leave, attendance, and payroll inputs.
  • Provide payroll support and coordinate benefits administration in collaboration with finance and external vendors.
  • Maintain data integrity, privacy, and security in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Compliance Management:

  • Monitor and coordinate regulatory filings, registrations, and licenses as required for local and regional operations.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits, address findings with timely corrective actions.
  • Oversee records management, retention schedules, and document control in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.

Grievance Handling & Employee Relations:

  • Act as the process owner for grievance handling; ensure timely, fair, and confidential resolution in line with policy.
  • Escalate complex complaints to appropriate stakeholders, coordinate investigations, and track resolution status.
  • Promote a respectful work environment and support conflict resolution and employee liaison activities.

Document Control & Policy Management:

  • Maintain version-controlled HR policies, standard operating procedures, and related documentation.
  • Ensure consistent distribution, training, and acknowledgement of policy updates across the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to update processes in line with legal changes and best practices.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by line manager.

Key performance indicators

  • Accuracy and timeliness of payroll & HR reports
  • HR service delivery turnaround time
  • Employee onboarding satisfaction rate
  • Compliance audit outcomes
  • Efficiency improvements in HR processes.

Required Skills
Education Degree:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; HR professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) preferred.
  • Language skills – English & Hausa is essential.

Work experience:

  • 5–8 years of HR operations, administration, and compliance experience, preferably in manufacturing or fast-paced environments.

Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws, employment regulations, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS/ERP systems, data integrity, payroll processes, and benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
