Job Description

• We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Photo & Video Content Editor with Social Media Expertise to produce engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
• This role involves creating, editing, and repurposing social-first content while staying current with trends and adapting content to maximize engagement.
• The ideal candidate is equally comfortable behind the camera capturing others, in front of the camera when needed for trends or transitions, and editing content into polished, high-performing posts. You must be proactive, social media-savvy, and confident in engaging people to participate in content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form and long-form content optimized for social media platforms.
• Repurpose raw content into Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, thumbnails, and compilations.
• Capture engaging footage of people, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Appear on camera when needed for trends, transitions, or voiceover-style content.
• Create meme-style videos, reaction clips, photo graphics, and quote-style edits.
• Identify and adapt trending content ideas across platforms.
• Collaborate with social media managers to plan and execute campaigns.
• Maintain and organize a library of edited content.
• Stay up-to-date with editing tools, social media algorithms, and viral trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in photo and video content editing for social media.
• Proficiency in CapCut, InShot, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools (Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut a plus).
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook content formats.
• Comfortable filming others and appearing on camera when required.
• Ability to direct people during shoots to capture natural, engaging content.
• Experience with motion graphics, captions, overlays, and color grading is a plus.
• Strong creative instincts and awareness of viral social media trends.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Competitive Salary (Salary: N150,000 / month.) based on experience; flexible depending on qualifications
