Job Description

• The Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading JMG Limited’s data strategy, turning raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• This role will oversee the design and maintenance of our data infrastructure, develop robust reporting systems, and lead a team of analysts to support decision-making across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.
• The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical data management and high-level business strategy.

Minimum Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s Business Intelligence roadmap in alignment with JMG’s corporate goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and BI developers.
• Champion a data-driven culture across all departments, advocating for the use of analytics in daily operations and long-term planning.
• Translate complex business questions (e.g., "Why did sales dip in the North-East region?" or "Which inventory items have the slowest turnover?") into analytical projects.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s data warehouse and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all systems (ERP, CRM, Excel, etc.).
• Manage relationships with external vendors and software providers regarding BI tools and data integrations.
• Implement data governance policies to standardize data definitions and reporting metrics across the organization.
• Design and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau for senior management.
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and sales forecasting.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain or inefficiencies in the sales process.
• Work closely with the Sales Director to analyze market penetration and sales team performance.
• Partner with the Supply Chain/Logistics team to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with Finance to track budget vs. actuals and perform profitability analysis by product line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Data Science is a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 8 – 10 yearsof experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data management.
• At least 3 yearsin a managerial or supervisory role, leading a team of analysts.
• Industry Experience:Experience in a trading, distribution, FMCG, or engineering-focused company is highly preferred. Experience with multi-channel distribution models is a plus.
• BI Tools: Expert proficiency in Power BI or Tableau (JMG uses Power BI extensively).
• Strong knowledge of SQL (ability to write complex queries, stored procedures).
