Job Summary

• Our client is looking for a creative and self-driven Social Media Intern to manage and grow its social media presence.
• This is a hands-on, independent role where you will be responsible for creating content, engaging with followers, and shaping the brand’sdigital voice.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, skincare, and makeup trends, and is eager to gain real-world experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital branding.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:

• Assist in creating engaging social media content, including posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
• Develop beauty-related content such as product features, tutorials, skincare routines, and before-and-after visuals.

Content Planning & Scheduling:

• Support the development of weekly or monthly social media content calendars.
• Schedule posts using social media management tools while ensuring consistency in the brand’s voice and aesthetic.

Community Management:

• Monitor social media pages and respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries.
• Engage with followers to build and maintain an active online community.

Trend & Market Research:

• Research trending beauty topics, hashtags, viral content formats, and competitor activities.
• Provide content ideas based on current beauty and skincare trends.

Campaign Support:

• Assist with social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and seasonal marketing activities.
• Support influencer collaborations by coordinating posts and tracking engagement.

Performance Tracking:

• Monitor engagement metrics such as likes, comments, shares, reach, and follower growth.
• Assist in preparing social media performance reports.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand’s tone, visual style, and messaging.
• Administrative Support: Assist the marketing or social media team with other digital marketing tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing a personal or brand social media account is a plus.
• 1 to 2years experience (internship, industrial training, or academic projects in Social Media Management is an advantage).
• Familiarity with social media scheduling or analytics tools.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced organization.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong interest in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and digital content.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback positively.
