Role Overview

• We are seeking a Geological Engineer to support our mining operations by conducting geological assessments, designing extraction methods, and ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible practices.
• The role involves both fieldwork and technical analysis, with a focus on maximizing resource recovery while minimizing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform geological surveys, mapping, and sampling to evaluate mineral deposits.
• Analyze rock and soil properties to determine mine design and extraction feasibility.
• Collaborate with mining engineers to develop safe and cost-effective mining plans.
• Monitor and assess geological hazards such as ground instability, subsidence, or water inflow.
• Provide technical input for drilling and blasting operations.
• Prepare detailed reports, maps, and models to guide exploration and production.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, or Mining Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mining exploration or operations.
• Strong knowledge of mineralogy, petrology, and structural geology.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and geotechnical modeling software.
• Fieldwork experience in core logging, drilling supervision, and sampling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
