Job Title: Social Media and Content Executive
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
The Social Media & Content Executive will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of social media and content strategies for the agency and its clients.
The role requires a creative and analytical professional who can plan, create, manage, and optimize engaging digital content across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management:
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies aligned with client and agency marketing objectives.
Manage and oversee social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
Plan and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and strategic posting schedules.
Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize campaign performance.
Content Creation & Management:
Create engaging digital content including captions, posts, articles, short videos, and campaigns tailored for different platforms.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to produce compelling multimedia content.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and campaign objectives.
Support the end-to-end content production process from ideation to publishing.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions.
Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Utilize analytics tools to optimize campaigns and improve digital marketing performance.
Community Management:
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
Engage with audiences by responding to inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Support the management of online reputation and escalate issues where necessary.
Campaign Execution & Collaboration:
Work closely with media buying, creative, and strategy teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Support influencer marketing and partnership initiatives where necessary.
Participate in campaign brainstorming and creative planning sessions.
Schedule and publish clients’ social media content across multiple platforms.
Support the Social Media Manager in developing and implementing social media marketing initiatives.
Knowledge of SEO principles and broader digital marketing strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Growth in social media audience and engagement.
Content performance and campaign effectiveness.
Increase in brand visibility and online community engagement.
Timely delivery and quality of content produced.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in social media management and content marketing, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong content writing and storytelling ability.
Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
Good understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
Basic knowledge of paid social campaigns and digital advertising.
Strong understanding of social media trends and platform algorithms.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment and manage multiple client accounts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Advantage:
Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing platforms.
