Videographer at HeartLens Studio

HeartLens Studio is a new production company launching in Lagos. We cover weddings, corporate events, brand films, and podcasting.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Videographer

Description

• We are looking for a Videographer who wants to be part of the company from the very beginning.
• This is not a role where everything is set up and you slot in. You will be one of the first people on the team. Your input will shape how we operate.

The Role

• Shooting across all our productions as we launch - weddings, corporate events, brand content, and podcast setups in Lagos.
• Captures, edits, and produces video contents, handling everything from pre-production planning and lighting to shooting and post-production. Creating high-quality videos for clients and marketing purposes.
• This role is critical in telling compelling stories, creating promotional and educational content, and supporting marketing, social media, and publication projects.

Requirements

• 1+ year video experience on a professional level
• Technical expertise in camera equipment, editing software, and creative storytelling
• Sony mirrorless camera experience
• A portfolio you can share
• Multitasking, Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail and aesthetics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the team
• Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reliable and coachable above everything else
• Someone genuinely excited about being part of, and growing with a startup from the ground floor.

What we pay

• Monthly retainer: N40,000 – N80,000
• Plus N8,000–N12,000 per event
• Formal salary review after 6 months of operations
