The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. NCDMB is vested with the mandate to make procedures that will guide, monitor, coordinate, and implement the provisions of the NOGICD Act signed into law on April 22, 2010.
We seek highly qualified, competent, and hardworking candidates to occupy the vacant position listed below:
Job Title: Well Completion / Well Intervention Advisor
Location: Nigeria
Roles & Responsibilities
Guarantee the accomplishment of the Deepwater well interventions with OIMIR vessel or drilling rig
Compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection.
Ensore integrity threats are properly assessed and appropriate remedial action plans implemented,
Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipmeet and services.
Prepare operation guidelines and programs for Well intervention operations.
Execute operations on deepwater in time and under budges
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years experience in Well Completion and/or Well Intervention operations.
Valid IWCF or equivalent well control certification.
Experience in offshore oc deepwater operations is preferred.
Strong understanding of well integrity, risk managensent, and operational planning.
Execute Deepwater Well Intervention Progrants, contingency guidelines & operations per Company objectives and rules.
Provide specialized technical Support to Company Deepwater well assets as required regarding Stimulation, Coiled Tubing.
Slick line, Electric line, tractor and RDS related tools and services.
Focal point for execution on Stimulation, Coiled Tubing, Slick line, Electric line, tractor and RDS contracts
Ensure appropriate equipment, tooting, spares inventory follow-up. Maintenance and purchase of asset requirements.
Normalize methodology on Stinsulation, Coiled Tubing, Slick line, Electric line, tractor and RDS on OML via contingency guidelines.
In-charge of Intervention operation on the Rig and Light Well Intervention Vessel, Expected to go offshore for all intervention operations.
Maintain good interface with completion, drilling and other seams for optimization of well intervention operations
Prepare the end of well intervention report capturing lessons to improve future work Participate and drive investigations into operational incidents in sphere of control.
Ensure lessons integrated into future well programa & existing guidelines/GDCP, Fallow up and ensure close out of related action items.
Must have supervisory level (4) of IWCF Intervention (combined Slickline, E-Line, Coiled Tubing & Snobbing) certification
Must have Combined Surface and Subsea IWCF (Level 4) Certification Define scope of work /supply for well intervention related Invitation to Tender/Call for Tender exercises
Participate in technical evaluation of well intervention CFT and Contractor site visit and evaluation.
Involved in engineering of solutions for all issues related to the well requiring intervention.
Ensure the tender captures experience from previous contracts and operations
Responsible for follow up of new technologies for welt intervention solutions and optimization
Responsible for Intervention operation Performance Tracking Large Deepwater developments; Personnel will work in support of Company Deepwater field developments At all times,
The Service holder will:
Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy and actively participate in Company safety initiatives
Be in the chain of command for OIMR Vessel intervention/ Light Well intervention vessel operations.
Follow up affiliate well integrity issues srouble shooting and propose intervention solutions to resolve integrity issues
Dernonstrate full compliance and leadership in procurement code of conduct
Ensure contractors respect Company E&P referential standards and International standards
Control and manage communication, in particular in case of high risk and emergency situations.
Actively participate, when required, to the board of inquiry and emergency management team.
Be part of Audit team to perform auditing of the Contracted Service providers
