Ascentech Services Limited - Our client, a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to approved Master Formula and BMR instructions.
• Ensure real-time documentation of batch manufacturing activities.
• Oversee line clearance and changeover procedures.
• Monitor production yields and investigate variances
• Ensure zero undocumented deviations.
• Review completed BMRs before submission to QA.
• Enforce ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
• Ensure SOP compliance across manufacturing units.
• Support QA during deviation investigations and CAPA implementation.
• Participate in: Process validation, Cleaning validation, Hold-time studies
• Ensure production readiness for IQ/OQ/PQ execution.
• Supervise Production Supervisors and Operators.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate GMP training.
• Maintain discipline and accountability on the shop floor.
• Promote a safety culture and a zero-accident environment.
• Improve OEE and reduce downtime.
• Optimize material usage and minimize wastage.
• Drive cost control initiatives without compromising compliance.

Job Requirements

• Educational qualification in B.Pharm
• 7–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years in a pharmaceutical production environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
