Job Description

• The Mack Trailer Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
• The role requires an experienced, dependable driver who can operate a trailer truck professionally and maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
• The successful candidate must come with a motor boy who will assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and supporting basic operational duties during trips.
• Please note that the employer will pay the driver directly, and any arrangement between the driver and the motor boy will be handled by the driver.
• Due to the nature of the business, most trips may occur at night, and flexibility is required.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong driving skills, honesty, discipline, and a high level of responsibility while representing the company during deliveries.

Requirements

• Must bring own motor boy; employer pays the driver directly, and motor boy arrangements are between the driver
• and motor boy.
• Valid driving license with a minimum of 4–5 years driving experience.
• Must be loyal, honest, and of good character.
• Minimum education: ND or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of truck operations and road safety.
• Must have an Android phone for communication and reporting.
• Motor boy must maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep.
• Non-smokers and non-drinkers preferred, especially on the job.
• Ability to work flexible hours; night driving is frequent.
• Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance trips.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a Mack trailer to deliver agricultural produce.
• Maintain the truck’s condition in partnership with your assigned motor boy.
• Ensure timely deliveries according to company schedule.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred):
• Experience with agricultural supply routes.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck repairs.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and delivery tracking.

Working Schedule:

• There are no fixed working hours for this role. Truck movements are primarily based on delivery schedules, and most trips take place at night. Please note that the company does not load trucks on Sundays. Candidates must be flexible and available to travel when required.

Remuneration

• Salary: N100,000 per month
• Trip Allowance (Feeding): ₦20,000
• Road Allowance: Depends on location.
