Job Title: Field Training Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Work closely with onsite Managers to identify training needs and design trainings to close those gaps.
• Conduct regular sites visit to cinemas to observe operations and identify skill gaps and non-compliance.
• Deliver onboarding and refresher training for ALL TMs, TLs, SCs, and Projectionists.
• Support the role out of new processes, products, menu, promotions and service standards.
• Support new cinema openings; training and hands on support.
• Reinforce compliance with health, safety, food safety, cash handling and customer service guideline
• Work closely with onsite Managers to identify training needs and design trainings to close those gaps.
• Align and ensure adaptation to Filmhouse management style, culture and core values.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute formal and on the job training for operations team.
• Monitor and assess the status of learning programs for areas of improvement
• Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
• Conduct regular needs analysis to identify both the needs of the organization, and the needs of employees to deploy bespoke or standard interventions to ensure the organization is enabled to succeed.
• Provide feedback to training participants and management.
• Collaborate with operations managers to develop their team members through career pathing.
• Coordinate offsite and onsite training for team members.
• Prepare and present report for Field training KPI latest 23rd of every month.
• Oversee the training calendar, communications, & training administration.
• Anticipate operational training risk and develop mitigation strategies
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned from time to time by line managers.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree · NITAD, ACIPM ( Is an added advantage)
• 1-3 years' experience as Trainer, Supervisor or Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Experience in Cinema, hospitality, retail, Food & beverage, or service-based environment.
