Job Description
The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and managing strategic marketing operations for all facets of the business. From supporting digital initiatives, planning our loyalty program, developing multi-pronged marketing strategies.
Writing copy, building exciting in-store experience so that we may deliver the highest levels of customer service to our discerning customers. We run a pace fast environment where the roles will be challenged yet very rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present periodic reports and analysis of digital activities and assets.
Create email newsletters and deploy to subscribers as needed.
Contribute of ideas to marketing campaigns and activations in addition to other support functions for successful execution of projects.
Build a strong partnership with our brand partners
Plan and execute the marketing plan
Develop the brand image in terms of brand reputation and relevance.
Support both, annual targets as well long-term objectives, thereby capitalizing on the investments made. Align the plan with the strategic objectives.
Manage effective launch of new onboarded products through the marketing functions and category development
Formulate marketing strategies based on business objective and consumer insight & landscape
Steer marketing campaigns on an annual basis including hero model launch, special pilot project and measure efficiency consistently with industry benchmark
Proactively work with cross departments and build go-to-market actions, understand business challenges and opportunities and turn implication into actions
Lead agencies to develop 360 integrated marketing campaigns for hero model launch, to create impact and enhance brand equity
Lead the content planning, content production, community engagement, and metrics reporting & optimizations
Have clear vision of digital/social, drive it to a new level in terms of quantity and quality; be bold to explore the pilot projects and build successful story by working closely with key eco-system partners.
Develop and execute digital & traditional storytelling for the brand in a manner that is appropriate and caters to each platform in the digital eco-system.
You will need to help propel the brand forward by developing strategies outside conventional methods to increase revenue
You will provide day to day leadership for the marketing team, improve its capacity and facilitate knowledge transfer with other departments.
You will be responsible to engage and retain existing customers while growing new customer base with clear focus on growing and retaining the polo customers.
Effectively manage the marketing budget to enable development of specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to drive revenue and meet objectives.
Source opportunity through third party affiliations in order to generate revenue streams for the company outside traditional retail environment.
Develop campaigns for social media, influencers, newsletters, and website SEO to promote products, services and events on offer; ensure that the POLO brand is at the cutting edge of digital innovation.
Initiate special inter department projects that solidify POLO’s leadership position.
Oversee events and experiential marketing campaigns in store such as launch parties, shopping stores and trade shows, exhibitions and international pop ups.
Requirements
University graduate or above, major in Business / Marketing or equivalent. M.Sc. in a related field of study is mandatory.
Belong to a professional body in brand and marketing.
Significant marketing experience, either in a luxury brand (watch, jewelry, fashion) or a premium consumer brand (hard goods, cosmetics, etc.).
Min 15 years solid marketing communication experiences with focus on digital and marketing.
Strong commercial marketing sense and insightful on consumer understanding.
Strategic thinking with creative mindset.
Strong Interpersonal & communication skills, proactive and self-challenger.
Experience in complex organization, multichannel/multicategories.
Experience within global brand is a MUST.
Familiarity with key principles and practices in PR and events.
