How You'll Make an Impact:
We are looking for a highly disciplined Finance Manager who lives and breathes numbers. This isn't just about bookkeeping; it’s about end-to-end financial stewardship. You will be the guardian of our ledger, ensuring the absolute quality and timeliness of every financial statement, from cash flow to the balance sheet.
You’ll play a critical role in navigating the newly passed tax laws, ensuring our remittances (Tax, Pension, etc.) are flawless. If you have a consulting or startup background and thrive on the challenge of variance analysis, forecast accuracy, and operational risk management, you are the talent we need.
What You'll Do:
Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
Prepare the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet with absolute accuracy.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage the end-to-end accounting CRM tools.
Analyze the Debt-to-Equity ratio and perform sensitivity analysis to guide leadership decision-making.
Financial Operations & Controls:
Own the end-to-end Account Payables (AP) and Account Receivables (AR) lifecycle, ensuring timely payments and aggressive follow-up on outstanding client invoices.
Perform meticulous monthly bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations to maintain 100% data integrity within our accounting systems.
Develop and enforce rigorous financial control policies, ensuring all expenditures align with approved budgets and grade-level authorities.
Supervise the issuance and tracking of all financial instruments, ensuring 100% accuracy and professional compliance in all documentation
Payroll, Tax & Benefits:
Manage the monthly payroll schedule and ensure 100% compliance with statutory remittances (LIRS, FIRS, Pension, etc.).
Act as the subject matter expert on current Nigerian tax laws to prevent regulatory violations.
Budgeting & FP&A:
Drive the quarterly Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) cycle.
Measure budget utilization rates and identify specific areas for cost savings across the organization.
Compliance, Risk & Control:
Develop and enforce financial control policies, ensuring all spend aligns with recruitment and grade-level budgets.
Monitor liquidity risk and operational risk exposure daily.
What We're Looking For
Professional & Technical Strengths:
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Professional (Mandatory): Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of end-to-end accounting experience, preferably within an accounting consulting firm or a fast-paced startup.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of current tax laws, pension remittances, and IFRS standards.
Tools: Proficient in accounting CRM tools, ERPs, and advanced Microsoft Excel (for $MAPE$, variance, and sensitivity analysis).
Reporting: Proven ability to deliver management accounts and financial forecasts under tight deadlines.

Success Milestones: Your First Year:
Within 3 Months: Operational Rigor & Compliance
Closing Cycles: Achieve the target of delivering monthly financial reports within the 1st week of every month with 100% accuracy.
Tax Integration: Fully integrate the requirements of the newly passed tax laws into our remittance and reporting workflows.
Payroll Stabilization: Take full ownership of the payroll cycle, achieving a zero-error rate in processing and 100% timeliness in payslip distribution.
Receivables/Payables: Stabilize the invoice processing time to under 24 hours from request and manage $DRO$ (Days Receivables Outstanding) within a 30-day window.
Within 6 Months: Analytical Mastery & Forecasting:
Forecast Accuracy: Improve the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) in cash flow forecasting through data-driven research and analysis.
Risk Management: Deliver your first monthly Risk Exposure Report, covering liquidity and operational risk assessments.
Invoice Management: Maintain a zero-hold rate on invoices and ensure 100% accuracy in approval-to-payment workflows.
Within 1 Year: Strategic Control & Innovation:
Financial Control Framework: Lead the development and 100% implementation of the Financial Control Framework, standardizing approval spans and grade-level budget compliance.
Strategic Metrics: Drive reporting on high-level growth metrics, including Gross Margin, Operating Profit Margin, ROI, and ROE.
Process Innovation: Successfully launch at least one major monthly innovation or research initiative that improves financial reporting speed or accuracy.
Audit Readiness: Ensure 100% compliance rate with zero significant findings in external or internal audits.

Step 5 - CRO’s Chat: Final session with the CRO to assess your strategic fit and long-term trajectory within EISS.
Compensation
300,000 Gross Monthly(slightly negotiable)
