Job Description

• As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Senior Automation & Instrumentation Instructorwith strong industry experience in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and automation technologiesto join our faculty of technical experts.
• This role is ideal for experienced automation engineers, instrumentation engineers, and control engineerswho are passionate about knowledge transfer, technical mentoring, and developing the next generation of engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level technical training programsin Automation, Instrumentation, and Process Control Engineering.
• Facilitate hands-on practical training sessionsinvolving PLC programming, instrumentation calibration, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, case studies, and laboratory exercisesbased on industry best practices.
• Evaluate trainee competence through technical assessments, practical demonstrations, and project-based learning.
• Provide technical mentorship and coachingto engineers and technicians undergoing training.
• Support the execution of industrial automation and instrumentation projectswhere required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ETL’s engineering training programs

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess any of the following:

• M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Or a closely related discipline.
• Professional certifications will be an advantage.

Industry Experience:

• The ideal candidate should possess strong practical experience in:
  • Industrial Automation Systems
  • PLC Programming & Troubleshooting
  • Industrial Instrumentation & Control Systems
  • Calibration of Process Instruments
  • Sensors and Transmitters (Level, Pressure, Flow, Temperature)
  • Control Valves and Actuators
  • SCADA Systems
  • Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Industrial Control Panel Design and Wiring
  • Process Control and Industrial Measurement Systems
• Experience working with automation platforms from the following companies will also be considered as a strong advantage:

  • Schneider Electric

  • Emerson Electric
  • Honeywell
  • Yokogawa Electric
• Candidates with Oil & Gas, Power, Manufacturing, or Process Industry experienceare strongly encouraged to apply.
