Senior Lecturer (Library and Information Science) at Ekiti State College of Technology

Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (formerly College of Health Sciences and Technology) was recently upgraded to a Polytechnic following the signing into law of the upgrade bill by the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on 23rd December, 2025.

In line with its expanded mandate to train middle and high-level technical manpower in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Business and Management Studies, while strengthening its health-related programmes, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Library and Information Science)

Location: Ijero-Ekiti, Ekiti
School: Business and Managment

Requirements

• Candidate must possess an academic Master Degree in Library and Information Science, with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals (both local and international).
• Candidate must have served as Lecturer I for a minimum of three (3) years.
• Evidence of scholarly publications, active participation and paper presentation at academic conferences, seminars or workshops as well as mandatory registration with professional regulatory body are added advantages.
