Lecturer I (Library and Information Science) at Ekiti State College of Technology

Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (formerly College of Health Sciences and Technology) was recently upgraded to a Polytechnic following the signing into law of the upgrade bill by the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on 23rd December, 2025.

In line with its expanded mandate to train middle and high-level technical manpower in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Business and Management Studies, while strengthening its health-related programmes, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Lecturer I (Library and Information Science)

School: Business and Managment

Requirements

• Candidate must possess an academic Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from recognized institution.
• Candidates is expected to have a good First Degree in the relevant discipline, with at least a second class lower division
• A minimum of 9 years cognate teaching and research experience in a Polytechnic or similar technical and vocational education and training (TVET) Institution is an added advantage, just as registration with the relevant professional body is necessary.
