Job Title: Male Legal / Admin Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Legal/Admin Assistant with a minimum of 5 years post-call experience to the Bar, combined with strong administrative capabilities.
  • The ideal candidate will support the legal and administrative functions of the organization, ensuring compliance, proper documentation, and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Duties:

  • Provide legal support on corporate matters, contracts, and compliance issues
  • Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, and correspondences
  • Ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Manage litigation processes and liaise with external counsel when necessary
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports or opinions as required
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of legal records.

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the office
  • Maintain office records, files, and documentation systems
  • Support procurement and vendor management processes
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Assist in policy development and implementation
  • Handle general office management tasks and support other departments as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and called to the Nigerian Bar
  • Minimum of 5 years post-call experience
  • Proven experience in both legal practice and administrative roles
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Remuneration

  • N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
