Job Title: Hotel Security Guard (Male)

Job Responsibilities

• Area Patrol and Security Prevention: Conduct regular patrols along designated routes and frequencies in key areas such as the hotel lobby, guest floors, parking lots, kitchen, and storage rooms. Identify potential hazards (e.g., electrical or water risks), suspicious individuals, or unusual activities. Document patrol details thoroughly, report issues immediately, and assist in resolving them.
• Entrance and Exit Control: Strictly monitor all hotel entrances and exits. Register and verify individuals and vehicles entering or leaving the premises. Prevent entry of improperly dressed or suspicious persons. Guide vehicles for orderly parking, maintain traffic flow in front of the hotel and in parking areas, and ensure unobstructed passageways.
• Security Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Proficiently operate hotel security systems, including surveillance and access control equipment. Monitor real-time activity in all areas, promptly identify and address abnormal footage. Regularly inspect equipment functionality, report malfunctions for repair, and ensure all security systems operate normally.
• Emergency Response: Familiarize with the hotel’s emergency protocols. Respond swiftly to incidents such as fires, theft, or guest disputes. Take effective measures to control the situation, protect the scene, and cooperate with relevant departments in investigations.

Job Requirements

• Nigerian resident, aged 22–45, male, height not less than 1.75 meters. Good health, no harmful habits, and no criminal record.
• SSCE or higher education required. Priority given to candidates with 1–3 years of security experience in hotels or related venues.
• Basic knowledge of security prevention and emergency handling techniques. Proficient in using common security equipment. Good communication skills in English or local languages, able to interact effectively with guests and staff from diverse backgrounds. Strong adaptability and psychological resilience to remain calm in emergencies.
• Diligent, responsible, and disciplined. Strictly adhere to hotel regulations and follow instructions from supervisors. Strong service orientation and teamwork spirit, capable of cooperating with other departments to complete tasks.
