We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mathematics and English Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to students.
• The teacher will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and support students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching materials
• Teach assigned subjects to students using appropriate teaching methods
• Maintain discipline and manage classroom behavior
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and performance
• Prepare and mark tests, assignments, and examinations
• Provide guidance and support to students
• Maintain accurate student records (attendance, results, etc.)
• Communicate with parents/guardians on students’ progress when necessary
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities
• Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or B.Sc + PGDE
• Relevant teaching experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Good knowledge of subject area and curriculum
• Ability to use modern teaching aids and technology
• Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching.

Salary
N50,000 - N100,000 monthly.
