Job Title: Senior Account Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Senior Account Officer to manage financial records, oversee transactions, and ensure accountability across all financial activities, including medical sales representatives’ accounts.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and strengthening internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Track and follow up on outstanding debts and payments
• Manage and reconcile medical sales representatives’ accounts (stock, sales, and remittances)
• Monitor reps’ debt exposure and ensure timely recovery
• Verify invoices, stock movement, and sales records from reps
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Work closely with management on financial planning and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG
• Experience managing different accounts simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
