• Tackle all electrical engineering breakdowns during the shift.
• Liaise with outgoing and incoming shift technicians on the state of plants.
• Ensure maximum utilization of electricians.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at work.
• Liaise with day-shift electrical technicians and the electrical engineer.
• Carry out other assignments as may arise from time to time.
• Provide on-the-job training for all subordinate staff.
• Ensure control and discipline of subordinate staff.
• Inform subordinates of their job responsibilities and systematically appraise their performance levels.
• Communicate effectively with other supervisors on matters of organizational interest.
• Advise immediate supervisor on up-to-date developments within assigned responsibilities.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure minimum disruption to production.
• Ensure correct handover procedures for effective operational control.
• Ensure gainful employment of subordinates.
• Maintain organized housekeeping.
• Ensure accurate reporting of operational status.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are carried out without failure.
• Ensure all subordinate staff are trained on the job to possess adequate knowledge, skills, and attitude for effectiveness in their roles.
• Ensure all subordinates understand safe working conditions and can effectively use firefighting and first-aid equipment when necessary.
• Ensure no serious breach of discipline or industrial unrest due to failure to implement personnel policies.
• Ensure all subordinates have agreed job descriptions and are appraised in accordance with group procedures.
• Ensure effective liaison with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure management is informed of changes or developments as they occur.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager
• Technicians and Production Workers
• Engineering Spare Store
• Other relevant stakeholders
• Work with other staff to continuously improve performance while adhering to legislative and company standards.
• Work closely with line managers and other leaders to deliver set objectives.

Key Attributes:
Occupational Health And Safety (OH&S):
Key Activities:

• Be aware of workplace hazards within assigned areas and apply control measures to reduce associated risks.
• Achieve 85% closure of actions arising from monthly HSE inspections.
• Achieve 95% compliance with Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) walkarounds.
• Train 65% of the workforce on safety awareness.

Environmental Management System (EMS) Objectives:
Key Activities:

• Understand roles and responsibilities and the importance of conformity with EMS requirements.
• Implement and comply with EMS requirements relating to environmental aspects, impacts, and applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

Quality And Plan Compliance Delivery (GMP):
Key Activities:

• Ensure that manufacturing operations meet stipulated GMP requirements.

Key Accountability:

• Possess good knowledge of GMP requirements and their application on site in line with GMP standards (PZC GMP standard/NAFDAC requirements).

Quality Management System (QMS) Objectives
Key Accountability:

• Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and continuously improve the system.

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills And Experience Needed
Required Qualifications:

• OND / HND / B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

Software Knowledge:
Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a similar position.
• Ability to withstand stress and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
