About the Role

• A reputable Finance Advisory Firm located in Ikoyi, Lagos is seeking to engage a highly competent and experienced Senior Legal Associate to join its team.
• The ideal candidate will provide sound legal advisory services, support financial transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall legal strategy of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services on corporate and financial transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct legal due diligence for investment and financial advisory transactions.
• Manage litigation matters and liaise with external counsel when required.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance issues affecting the business.
• Support corporate governance and risk management initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to structure and execute financial deals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years post-call experience in corporate, commercial, or financial law.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must reside within or close to Ikoyi, Lagos.

Salary
N600,000 – N700,000 Monthly.
