Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Role Overview
The Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for OneVERIFY’s business operations, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, projects, and technology platforms.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of translating strategic objectives into actionable operational plans.
This role will oversee internal processes, vendor partnerships, and project execution while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, processes, and procedures to optimize performance across teams.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance workflow, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Project & Program Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven projects, including OneVerify deployments.
Coordinate with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
Implement risk management strategies to identify, mitigate, and escalate operational challenges.
People & Team Management:
Supervise and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular evaluations.
Promote knowledge sharing and ensure effective collaboration across remote and hybrid teams.
Process Optimization & Compliance:
Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements for operational scalability.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, data privacy laws, and internal policies.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational manuals for ongoing reference.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and government partners.
Negotiate contracts, monitor service-level agreements, and ensure cost-effective operations.
Serve as a liaison between senior management and operational teams, providing reports and insights to guide decision-making.
Reporting & Analytics:
Maintain dashboards, performance metrics, and operational reports for executive leadership.
Conduct data-driven analysis to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
Track progress of initiatives and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations management within technology, SaaS, or fintech companies.
Strong understanding of digital identity platforms, RegTech, and technology-driven operational workflows.
Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in operational software, dashboards, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills / Nice to Have:
Experience in digital identity, verification, blockchain, or AI-driven platforms.
Familiarity with Nigerian regulatory and compliance frameworks for data and identity management.
Strong experience managing hybrid and remote teams.
Knowledge of process automation, workflow optimization, and operational scaling strategies.
Engagement & Compensation
1-year rolling contract or full-time (to be determined during interview).
Competitive remuneration based on experience and scope of responsibility.
