We also deliver nationwide, making efficiency and coordination crucial in this role.

Job Title: Product Photographer

Location: Wuse Zone 1, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Product Photographer to produce high-quality images and videos that showcase our unique products.
• This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong visual storytelling skills, and the ability to present products in a way that engages customers both in-store and online.
• The Product Photographer will work closely with the Product Supervisor and Marketing Team to capture, edit, and maintain visual content that aligns with the company’s brand standards.
• This position plays a critical role in enhancing our online presence, supporting promotions, and elevating the overall customer experience through compelling visuals.

Key Responsibilities
Product Photography & Videography:

• Capture clear, engaging, and professional images of all product categories.
• Produce short videos for promotional use, product highlights, and online listings.
• Maintain consistency in lighting, background, and camera angles according to brand standards.

Editing & Quality Control:

• Edit photos and videos using professional tools to ensure colour accuracy, clarity, and sharpness.
• Retouch images while maintaining the true representation of each product.
• Review all content for quality before submission.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintaining an organized catalogue of product images and videos
• Documenting lighting setups, camera settings, and shoot details
• Preparing shot logs and uploading reports
• Creative Direction
• Suggest creative shoot ideas and styling concepts to enhance product visibility.
• Maintain a strong understanding of visual trends relevant to retail and e-commerce.
• Contribute to improving the overall visual identity of the brand.

Workflow & Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Store manager to prioritise daily/weekly photography needs.
• Maintain an organised system for product preparation, shoot execution, and media file management.
• Ensure efficient coordination for product pick-up and return after shoots.

Asset Handling & Compliance:

• Handle all products carefully during photography to prevent damage.
• Ensure proper documentation and naming of files for easy retrieval.
• Adhere to company policies for content approval and product handling.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong creative and visual skills.
• Proficiency in product photography, lighting setup, and videography.
• Skilled in editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop, CapCut, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver under deadlines.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts, Media, Digital Arts, or a related creative field.
• 2 – 3 years of professional experience in product photography, ecommerce photography, or retail visual content creation.
• Strong proficiency in photography equipment (DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, backdrops) and video equipment.
• Proficient in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut, Premiere Pro).
• Excellent attention to detail, colour accuracy, and composition.
• Creative mindset with a strong visual storytelling ability.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and organize files efficiently.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for retail visuals, product presentation, and maintaining brand aesthetics.

Work Schedule:

• 2 days per week (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
