Job Title: Senior ESG Services Consultant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• As Senior ESG Services Consultant, you will lead our ESG practice, oversee client engagements, mentor a growing team of analysts and managers, and shape the firm's service offerings.
• You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on practitioner, capable of building strong client relationships, delivering best-in-class ESG solutions and staying ahead of evolving regulations and market trends.

Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership:

• Define and evolve the firm's ESG service portfolio (e.g., materiality assessments, ESG
• strategy, reporting and assurance, climate risk, supply-chain due diligence).
• Establish methodologies, templates and quality standards.
• Recruit, develop and coach a high-performing team of consultants.

Client Engagement:

• Lead end-to-end ESG projects: scoping, planning, execution and delivery.
• Conduct materiality analyses and stakeholder engagements.
• Advise on ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNGC Principles, EU Taxonomy).
• Support sustainability disclosures, annual and integrated reports, and submission processes.

Strategy & Advisory:

• Develop actionable ESG strategies aligned with clients' business goals and risk profiles.
• Guide clients on net-zero roadmaps, carbon footprint accounting and decarbonization pathways.
• Identify emerging ESG risks and opportunities across sectors.

Business Development:

• Expand existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Draft proposals, presentations and thought-leadership content.
• Represent the firm at conferences, workshops and client events.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of ESG consulting or corporate sustainability experience.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale ESG engagements.
• Deep knowledge of global ESG standards, reporting frameworks and regulations (EU
• CSRD, SEC climate rules, UK TCFD mandate, etc.).
• Experience with ESG data management tools and analytics.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Science,
• Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., GRI Certified, SASB FSA, CFA Certificate in ESG Investing) preferred.
