Job Title: Head of Zigma Gas

About the job

• Lead the Zigma Gas business unit from development through operations. Drive the NGFCP project to production, securing gas supply, offtake agreements, and community support. Build Zigma Gas into a profitable gas commercialisation business.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for Zigma Gas business unit
• Lead NGFCP project development from current stage through to first gas
• Negotiate gas supply agreements with upstream asset owners
• Secure offtake agreements for LPG, CNG, and other products
• Manage relationships with NUPRC and other regulators
• Lead community engagement and obtain necessary social licence
• Work with CIO to structure project financing and attract investors
• Oversee engineering and construction activities (with support from Engineering team)
• Develop operations readiness plan for plant startup
• Build and manage the Zigma Gas team as project progresses
• Monitor gas market developments and identify additional opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years experience in oil & gas, with significant midstream/gas exposure
• Track record of developing and delivering gas projects in Nigeria
• Strong understanding of NGFCP framework and regulatory requirements
• Experience with gas processing, LPG, CNG, or power generation
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements
• Excellent stakeholder management including community relations
• Engineering background preferred (Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical)
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification an advantage
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
