We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NYSC Intern - Social Media / Account

Location: Lagos

Description

• We are looking for a proactive and outgoing Accounting Intern (NYSC inclusive) who will provide support in basic accounting operations while actively managing and engaging audiences across the company’s social media platforms.
• The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with numbers and confident in communication, an extrovert who enjoys engaging with people.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and petty cash records.
• Assist with expense tracking, reconciliations, and maintaining organized financial records.
• Help ensure accurate filing and record-keeping for all financial documents.
• Assist in preparing simple financial summaries and reports when required.
• Create, curate, and post approved content across social media platforms in line with brand guidelines.
• Draft engaging captions and schedule posts to maintain consistent online presence.
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and online inquiries.
• Monitor social media channels, track engagement metrics, and provide insights to improve performance.
• Support the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure timely updates.
• Perform other administrative and support duties assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills and Competence Requirements

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (must be confident and engaging).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Very strong analytical skills, especially in tracking financial and engagement data.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting captions and online responses.
• Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new tools and accounting/social media platforms.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to multitask effectively.
