Job Title: Pharmacologist

Job Summary

• The Pharmacologist will support the pharmacy operations.
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in a community or hospital pharmacy and solid knowledge of drug interactions, dispensing practices, and patient counseling.

Key Responsibilties

• Participate in pharmacy operations, including drug dispensing and patient counseling where needed.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide professional guidance on drug usage, side effects, and contraindications.
• Maintain accurate records, inventory, and documentation.
• Stay updated on new drug discoveries, pharmacy best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements& Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy Technology , or related fields
• 1- 3 years experience working in a pharmacy (community or hospital).
• Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug mechanisms, and pharmacokinetics.
• Practical knowledge of drug dispensing, inventory management, and prescription handling.
• Ability to counsel patients professionally.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
