We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

• We are hiring an experienced Chef to lead day‑to‑day kitchen operations, food preparation, recipe execution, and quality control across our full menu.
• The ideal candidate must be highly skilled in local, continental, grilled, fried, and signature dishes and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of meals across categories: rice dishes, pasta, sauces, grills, chicken/turkey wings, shawarma, burgers, soups, breakfast dishes, side dishes, etc.
• Ensure consistency of taste, portioning, and presentation for every order.
• Handle full kitchen workflow: prepping, cooking, garnishing, plating, packaging.
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Oversee kitchen inventory, ingredients, and food supplies.
• Work with shift team (24/7 operations) to ensure smooth food production.
• Follow recipe standards while also suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Manage time efficiently to handle high‑volume orders.

Requirements

• MUST live within Gwarinpa or its immediate surroundings (Gwarinpa, Dawaki, Jahi, Lifecamp, Kado, Kubwa axis).
• Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a chef in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, catering company, or food business.
• Ability to prepare all kinds of meals with speed and consistency.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, hygiene standards, and portion control.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Must be available for the walk‑in interview.

Salary & Benefits

• N120,000 – N150,000 depending on experience
• Performance‑based increments after 3 months
