Updeal Resources - Our client, a Unit Microfinance Bank, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

• Manage and support the Core Banking Application (CBA) to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data integrity.
• Monitor and maintain the bank’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and endpoints.
• Support integration and technical oversight of digital banking channels such as mobile banking, internet banking, USSD, and ATM systems.
• Plan and implement IT projects, including system upgrades and technology deployments.
• Implement and monitor IT security policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and system audits.
• Provide IT support and helpdesk services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and SLA compliance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• System uptime and availability
• Incident response and resolution time
• Successful delivery of IT projects
• Compliance with regulatory IT standards
• Security incident prevention and mitigation
• Efficiency of IT service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT operations or systems management, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience managing Core Banking Applications (CBA) is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA, PMP, or cybersecurity certifications are desirable.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly.
