Job Title: Security Operative

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Reports to: Chief Security Officer

Main Function

• Security Operatives are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the resort, restaurant, staff, and guests. The role ensures a safe environment by monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents.

Role Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor activities to ensure safety.
• Prevent unauthorized access and respond to security breaches.
• Assist in crowd control during events or busy periods.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems.
• Report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to the Chief Security Officer.
• Enforce rules, policies, and regulations to maintain order.
• Assist in emergency situations, including fire or medical incidents.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Minimum secondary education; relevant security training or certification is an advantage.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in security, safety, or related roles.
• Experience in hospitality, resorts, or public venues preferred.
