About the Role
The National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Finance and Administrative
Manager to support the operational, financial, and administrative functions of the association’s national secretariat.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of the Secretariat, financial accountability, effective membership administration, and coordination of the association’s activities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the daily administrative operations of the NANTA Secretariat, ensuring efficient management of office activities and organizational processes.
Provide secretariat support to the National Executive Council, including preparation of meeting agendas, recording of minutes, maintenance of official records, and follow-up on the implementation of resolutions.
Manage the financial and administrative functions of the association, including maintaining financial records, supporting budgeting processes, monitoring expenditures, and preparing periodic financial and administrative reports.
Coordinate the management of the association’s membership system nationwide, ensuring efficient registration, timely renewals, accurate database records, and effective communication with members across the six zones of the association.
Serve as a key administrative communication channel between the National President, National Executive Committee, Vice Presidents in all the Zones, and the Board of trustees, ensuring timely coordination and information flow.
Maintain proper documentation, correspondence, and record-keeping systems for the association in accordance with good governance practices.
Coordinate administrative arrangements for national meetings, conferences, training programs, and industry engagements organized by NANTA.
Supervise secretariat administrative staff and ensure adherence to established administrative procedures and financial controls.
Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and programs aimed at strengthening the travel and tourism industry and enhancing member engagement.
Prepare and present periodic operational and financial reports to the National Executive Committee and relevant governing bodies.
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Tourism Management, or a related discipline with 3-4 years experience.
Professional certification such as ICAN, ICSAN, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
A Master’s Degree in a relevant field will also be considered an advantage.
Requirements:
Proven experience in finance, administration, or organizational management.
Experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, and administrative systems within an organization.
Experience working with professional associations, membership organizations, or industry bodies will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of the travel, aviation, or tourism sector will be highly desirable.
