Job Title: Binding Wire / Drawing Machine Operator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Binding Wire / Drawing Machine Operator to operate and maintain wire drawing machines for the production of high-quality binding wires.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setup, monitoring production processes, and ensuring output meets required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up wire drawing machines by selecting and installing the correct dies.
• Apply appropriate lubrication to ensure smooth wire passage through the machine.
• Start and operate the drawing process while maintaining optimal machine performance.
• Continuously monitor wire tension, alignment, and machine speed to prevent breakage or defects.
• Inspect finished wire products using micrometers and gauges to ensure compliance with specified diameters.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Identify and report faults, defects, or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the machine and work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / OND or relevant technical qualification.
• 2 years experience in operating wire drawing or similar industrial machines.
• Strong understanding of machine setup, dies selection, and lubrication processes.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.

Salary Range
N100,000 – N130,000 monthly.
