About the role
This role is responsible for leading the implementation of the global Reckitt Production System, the Manufacturing Excellence Manager leads the manufacturing excellence program.
This role is a key member of the lead/management team working under the Head of Manufacturing and collaborates across all levels and functions of the organization to drive capability building, to co-lead with functional managers the implementation and adoption of proven systems and ways of working based on RPS pillars.
Your Responsibilities
Collaborates across all levels and functions of the organization to drive capability building, to co-lead with functional managers the implementation and adoption of proven systems and ways of working based on RPS pillars
Ensure consistency and compliance of performance measures and losses definitions with global standards, improve data collection systems efficiency and accuracy in collaboration with IT&D team and digital manufacturing. Optimize reporting visualization and consolidation to improve gap diagnosis.
Collaboration with Engineering and Innovation to prevent risks, improve performance and optimize work through early management of CapEx projects and new products innovation.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to reduce OEE losses, reduce waste, reduce energy consumption, reduce quality losses, increase productivity, reduce safety risks, etc.
Lead strategic initiatives for building own capabilities.
RPS Standards implementation and adherence across the site
Capability building for shopfloor and management in matters related to CI
Requirements
The experience we're looking for:
Demonstrable experience in managing large manufacturing operations, with a focus on driving performance and efficiency.
4+ years working in operations with a Manufacturing Excellence structured program, progressively expanding the systems and reaching higher levels of adoption, maturity and therefore results.
Proficient in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
Working knowledge of production logistics, supply management, and contract negotiation.
Experience with TPM / WCM / IWS strategy implementation
Expertise as trainer and coach of TPM / WCM / IWS methodologies and systems
Strong leadership, change management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience implementing digital working systems e.g. MES, connected worker, Power BI, power
Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
Analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
