Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Woji, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A Teacher is responsible for educating students, creating lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student performance, and promoting a positive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Prepare lesson notes, teaching materials, and classroom activities
• Teach and explain concepts clearly to students
• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and exams
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and attendance
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure discipline
• Provide guidance and support to students on academic and personal issues
• Communicate effectively with parents and school management
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or relevant degree
• TRCN certification (an added advantage in Nigeria)
• Good knowledge of the subject area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Classroom management skills
• Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching
• Basic computer knowledge (for modern teaching methods)

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 per month.
