Metal, Clay and Potter Limited is a construction-based subsidiary of Buckler Systems Limited, specialized in the design and development of standard structures for armoured equipment in supporting defense infrastructure and specialized engineering projects.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Civil Engineer at Metal, Clay and Potter Limited is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are safe, cost-effective, and completed in compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, resources, and timelines.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to model and simulate project designs.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure construction materials and workmanship meet specified standards.
• Assess and manage risks associated with construction projects from planning to execution
• Ensure that all documentations comply with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related role.
• Certification: Memberships in professional bodies (e.g., NSE, COREN) is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in Construction and Project Management.

Skills:

• Operational & Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and proficiency in industry-specific software, like AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other computer-aided design software.
• Personal Attributes / Professionalism: Ability to work with independently with minimal supervision.
