Job Title: Technical Lead

Location: Lagos

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Technical Lead to oversee technical operations and administrative processes within our organization.
• The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with leadership and organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations, efficient team performance, and proper maintenance of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily technical operations and production activities
• Manage and lead technical staff, ensuring high performance and accountability
• Oversee maintenance and proper functioning of machinery (e.g., laser edge banding machines and related equipment)
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices
• Prepare reports, track performance metrics, and improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with management to plan and execute projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good knowledge of machinery operations and maintenance
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
• Strong communication and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with machine operation and supervision 
• Familiarity with ERP systems or maintenance planning tools
• Background in industrial operations.
