Job Overview
The Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality physics instruction that promotes students’ understanding of scientific principles and encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Instruction:
Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
Explain scientific concepts clearly using demonstrations, experiments, and practical activities.
Encourage student participation and active learning.
Curriculum Implementation:
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional resources.
Ensure lessons align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
Integrate practical laboratory activities into physics instruction.
Student Assessment and Evaluation:
Design and administer tests, assignments, and examinations.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Laboratory and Practical Supervision:
Supervise physics laboratory activities and experiments.
Ensure safe handling and proper use of laboratory equipment.
Maintain laboratory materials and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Student Support and Mentorship:
Provide academic guidance and support to students.
Identify students who require additional help and provide remedial support.
Encourage students’ interest in science and research.
Professional and School Engagement:
Participate in departmental meetings and school academic activities.
Collaborate with other teachers to improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field.
Professional Certification:
A teaching certification or education qualification is preferred.
IGCSE certification and TRCN area must-have.
Experience:
Must have 3 – 10 years of teaching experience, preferably at the secondary school level.
Technical Skills:
Ability to conduct and supervise laboratory experiments.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools, digital resources, and classroom technology.
