Role Overview
As the Head of Operations (Abuja), you will serve as the chief architect of systems, people, and processes for our Abuja command center.
You will carry executive responsibility for the smooth running of daily ministry functions, media production, and the successful launch and management of a fully functional call center hub that will reach thousands daily.
This role demands a strategic thinker, an innovative builder, and a Spirit-driven leader who can align people, resources, and technology with the vision of BDM. You will work directly with the President and senior leadership to establish Abuja as a model of excellence that supports our global outreach and media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Provide oversight for all daily operations of the Abuja center, ensuring that programs, services, and events are executed with precision and impact.
Develop, document, and implement efficient systems and workflows for administration, logistics, and internal coordination.
Monitor performance across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Media Production & Graphics:
Supervise the Abuja-based media production team (video, design, graphics, editing, and sound), ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content for TV broadcasts, social media platforms, and ministry campaigns.
Collaborate with the global media team to maintain consistent branding and uphold the Bible Davids Ministries standard of excellence.
Ensure all equipment, studios, and production processes are optimized for efficiency and creativity.
Call Center Development & Management:
Lead the setup, structuring, and daily management of the Abuja call center.
Build systems for prayer line support, donor/partner engagement, discipleship follow-up, and sales funnels for ministry products.
Recruit and train call center agents, establishing performance metrics, accountability systems, and spiritual culture within the team.
Integrate call center activities with broader ministry operations, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
Team Management & Human Resources:
Recruit, onboard, and develop staff and volunteers across media, call center, and operational units.
Build a Kingdom-driven, performance-oriented culture that prioritizes excellence, integrity, and innovation.
Implement training programs, leadership pipelines, and staff development strategies to build capacity for growth.
Ensure accountability structures are in place with clear KPIs and reporting systems.
Strategic Planning & Growth:
Partner with senior leadership to design and implement growth strategies for Abuja operations that align with the global vision of BDM.
Oversee budgeting, financial stewardship, and effective resource allocation for maximum impact.
Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and innovations that can amplify BDM’s reach in Nigeria, Africa and Globally.
Serve as a liaison between Abuja operations and global leadership, ensuring communication and alignment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Media/Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of proven leadership experience in operations management, with demonstrated success in overseeing multi-departmental teams.
Prior experience in media production, communications, or call center operations is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to build systems from the ground up.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, inspire excellence, and maintain accountability.
Exceptional communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal.
Proficiency in technology, media platforms, and operational software.
