Job Title: Production Assistant / Sales Associate

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• The Production Assistant / Sales Associate supports daily production of desserts and beverages while also engaging customers, processing orders, and driving sales. This role ensures products are prepared, packaged, and presented to meet brand standards, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Production Support (Kitchen & Prep):

• Assist in the preparation of cakes, desserts, juices, and small chops
• Measure ingredients and follow production guidelines (SOPs)
• Support baking, mixing, assembling, and finishing products
• Ensure proper portioning and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Packaging & Order Fulfillment:

• Package products neatly according to brand standards
• Label items correctly (name, date, quantity)
• Prepare orders for:
  • Walk-in customers
  • Online/WhatsApp orders
  • Corporate and event deliveries
• Ensure orders are accurate before dispatch

Sales & Customer Service:

• Attend to customers (in-store, WhatsApp, Instagram)
• Recommend products and upsell (e.g., “add juice”, “bundle offer”)
• Take and process orders efficiently
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
• Promote ongoing offers and new products

Display & Merchandising

• Arrange products attractively in display areas
• Ensure products look fresh, appealing, and well-presented
• Maintain clean and organized sales/display space

Inventory Support:

• Assist in tracking daily stock usage
• Report low stock levels to supervisor
• Help count inventory (ingredients, packaging, finished goods)
• Reduce wastage through careful handling

Digital & Sales Support:

• Assist with:
  • Posting simple updates on WhatsApp status / Instagram
  • Taking product photos/videos (basic)
  • Record daily sales and customer orders
• Use simple tools (POS, calculator, Excel if needed)

Required Skills & Competencies
Qualifications:

• Maximum: SSCE / OND with 2-3 years experience.
• Experience in bakery, food service, or retail is an advantage
• Training can be provided
• Basic baking or food handling knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Sales mindset (ability to upsell and recommend)
• Attention to detail (packaging, labeling, orders)
• Ability to work fast and under pressure
• Neatness and hygiene consciousness
• Basic digital skills (WhatsApp, Instagram, simple recording)
• Must reside within Obalende and environs

Salary
N80,000 / Month (Net)
