Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective general managem of the Sichant, for ensuring the provision of academic leadership and strategie vision, and for the quality of the student experience
The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated academic and non academic staff, to provide visionary leader ship and oversight, and alss in producing disciplined and self-reliant citizens equipped for future leadership in all spheres.
The Principal will be responsible for implementing the school's development plan and providing strategic leadership and direction which will motivate all staff to strive for superior performance in order to secure the best possible sutcome for the pupils and students in all spheres.
The candidate of choice must have excellent leadership and management skills which will ensure that all set targets are met.
Provide professional leadership in the implementation and the development of the National Curriculum Framework and the Learning Outcomes Framework.
Provide professional leadership in the implementation and the development of the School Development Plan.
Lead and manage the school in its day-to-day operations, organising and coordinating all activities related to curriculum planning, delivery, assessment and development at school level and at national level.
Develop and maintain an emotionally, psychologically and physically safe, as well as orderly school environment, through a creative and cognitively stimulating climate that is conducive to learning.
Coordinate mentoring duties of Newly Qualified/Recruited Educators and others experiencing challenges.
Collaboratively create and nurture a Community of Professional Educators, leading by example through active participation
Requirements
Candidate must be a University graduate with First Degree, preferably B.Ed or its equivalent, from a reputable tertiary institution.
Master's Degree in Educational Management and Planning or professional qualification in education or any other related certification will be an advantage.
Minimum of Ten (10) years cognate experience in an International School, and not less than Five (5) years in Management/Leadership position.
Knowledge of the Nigerian National Policy on Education.
Understanding of the relevant laws and regulations governing the provision of educational services in Nigeria.
In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and British curricula, Effective Communication skills.
Ability to identify, effect and monitor school improvements programmes.
He/she must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be a Christian with basic Christian experiences. He/she must possess good analytical and problem-solving skais

Candidate must possess strong moral values and discipline.
Excellent diction and experience in the WAEC and IGCSE curricula
