We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Primary Teacher

Locations: Rupokwu, Woji GRA, Artillery and Sars road - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• A Primary School Teacher is responsible for educating pupils (typically ages 5–11) by delivering engaging lessons, supporting academic and personal development, and creating a positive learning environment.
• The teacher ensures pupils build strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social behavior.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Basic Science, and Social Studies
• Use creative teaching methods to engage pupils of different learning abilities
• Assess and record pupils’ progress regularly
• Prepare and mark classwork, assignments, and examinations
• Maintain discipline and classroom control
• Provide guidance and support to pupils’ emotional and social development
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about pupil progress
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, report cards, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) or B.Ed.
• TRCN registration (added advantage)
• Prior teaching experience (1–3 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching children
