Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Ibafo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to manage, monitor, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications while providing timely technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support computer systems, hardware, and software
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Manage network systems, internet connectivity, and email systems
• Provide first-line technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly
• Maintain data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
• Manage user access rights and system permissions
• Support enterprise applications (ERP, accounting software, HR systems, etc.)
• Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and antivirus management
• Document IT procedures, incidents, and system configurations
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers when required

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3–4 years’ experience in an IT support or systems administration role
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic Linux knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, and backup solutions
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
