The VP, Growth & Partnerships will spearhead user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth for our B2B, B2C, and third-party products.
As a critical member of the leadership team, this role encompasses the development and execution of end-to-end growth strategies spanning acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
The VP will lead all commercial activities, focusing on new opportunities and markets while achieving customer acquisition, revenue, and strategic business goals.
Working closely with product, engineering, BMC (Brand, Marketing, and Communications), Business Assurance (Compliance and Risk), and Strategy & Transformation teams, the VP will build, measure, and optimize growth efforts.
This position will also drive innovative partnerships, market expansion, and strategic collaborations, ensuring measurable outcomes that strengthen our ecosystem and market leadership.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Management:
Establish Strategic Alliances: Forge collaborations with local and international technology providers and businesses across key industries such as finance, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, insurance, and entertainment to diversify and enhance product offerings.
Sustain Relationships: Develop and maintain meaningful, long-term partnerships with top vendors and partners to support business growth opportunities.
Negotiate Agreements: Drive favorable terms and agreements aligned with product objectives, ensuring value delivery for users.
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion:
Innovative Solutions: Design optimized, diverse service packages to drive user acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
Market Penetration: Identify emerging markets and anticipate industry shifts to create strategies for expanded market engagement and penetration.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer feedback and user data to identify growth opportunities and inform actionable strategies.
Product & Business Alignment:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and Strategy & Transformation teams to prioritize features and innovations that fuel growth.
Customer-Centric Insights: Develop a deep understanding of target customer segments and the competitive landscape to influence product and marketing decisions.
Leadership & Advocacy:
Team Development: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing Growth and Partnerships team with a culture of accountability and innovation.
Brand Advocacy: Serve as a trusted ambassador for Zojapay and Zojatech, promoting the brands as innovative and reliable fintech leaders.
Metrics & Performance Optimization:
Impact Assessment: Track partnership and growth success through metrics such as user satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Operational Excellence: Continuously optimize customer journeys and growth processes across all stages, from acquisition to loyalty.
External Awareness & Risk Management:
Market Monitoring: Stay ahead of competitors, market conditions, and regulatory developments to proactively adjust strategies.
Proactive Communication: Share critical external insights with the organization to navigate changes effectively.
Business Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Performance Reporting: Deliver data-driven reports on business performance to the Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Process Enhancements: Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall outcomes.

Job Specifications
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields from a recognized university will be an advantage.
Professional Qualifications:
Certification in Sales, Business Process, and Business Development.
Membership of professional management associations will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years in an IT operating environment with hands-on experience in Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, and executive management, and at least 6 years in senior management positions.
Experience in the fintech industry.
Core strength and verifiable experience in scaling startups.
Strong understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies.
