We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Brand Manager – Milk Innovation (FMCG)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and technically grounded Senior Brand Manager – Milk Innovation to lead the development and commercialization of innovative dairy products from concept through to market launch.
• This role goes beyond traditional brand management.
• The ideal candidate must possess hands on knowledge of milk formulation, processing, and manufacturing, combined with strong commercial and strategic capabilities.
• The candidate will serve as the end-to-end owner of the milk innovation pipeline, translating consumer insights into commercially viable, scalable, and high-quality dairy products.
• The successful candidate must have direct experience working within a milk manufacturing company and have operated in a similar capacity, managing both the technical and commercial aspects of dairy product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end milk product innovation (ideation → formulation → pilot → production → launch).
• Develop and refine milk formulations, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with R&D and production teams to oversee processing methods (e.g., pasteurization, homogenization, fortification, shelf-life optimization).
• Translate consumer insights and market trends into differentiated dairy products.
• Own brand strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution for new milk products.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing.
• Build detailed business cases, including pricing, COGS, and profitability models.
• Ensure products are scalable within manufacturing environments and meet all regulatory requirements.
• Manage external partners, suppliers, and co-manufacturers where required.

Key Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in FMCG, with a strong focus on dairy or beverage categories
• Mandatory experience in a milk manufacturing company, in a similar innovation or brand management role
• Demonstrated ability to formulate milk products and understand end-to-end dairy processing techniques
• Proven track record of successful product launches in the dairy category
• Strong understanding of milk composition, fortification, preservation, and quality control processes
• Solid commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, pricing, and cost structures
• Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities
