Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Officer to provide optimal SAP system support to users across the organization.
• The successful candidate will serve as a key functional SAP resource, ensuring smooth system operations, user support, rollouts, and continuous improvement of business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as first-line support for SAP users across the African region
• Provide end-user support across SAP MM, SD, and PP modules
• Handle SAP master data creation, user queries, issue resolution, and user training
• Support SAP rollouts and implementations, including testing, documentation, and user onboarding
• Collaborate closely with business teams and offshore SAP teams
• Assist with month-end procurement and integration processes, ensuring timely closure
• Work with other SAP modules including FICO, PM, PP, and QM
• Identify new business requirements, analyze process gaps, and prepare benefit analyses
• Ensure compliance with data protection and GDPR requirements, maintaining strict confidentiality

 Requirements
Functional & Technical Requirements:
General SAP Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on SAP experience
• Strong SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA end-user support experience
• At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience and rollout/support exposure

Materials Management (MM):

• Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Pricing Procedures
• Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
• Experience with PO/PR Release Strategy, Contracts, External Services Management
• Master data, message output, price determination, and special procurement processes
• Understanding of accounting impact of MM processes

Production Planning (PP):

• Strong understanding of Production Planning and Quality Management processes
• Expertise in PP master data (BOM, Routing, Work Centres, Production Versions)
• Experience with process orders, confirmations, WIP calculation, and TECO

Sales & Distribution (SD):

• Strong knowledge of SD business processes including:
• Sales contracts and sales orders
• Delivery, shipment, billing, credit/debit memos
• Returns, free-of-charge delivery, STO, rebates, consignment
• Experience managing customer and pricing master data and output conditions

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• SAP Certification in MM, PP, and/or SD is an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ownership, multitasking, and deadline management capability
• Willingness to travel when required.
