Job Summary

• Dangote Cement Transport is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.
• As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing construction projects that contribute to the infrastructural development and growth of our company.
• This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of safety regulations and quality standards within civil engineering. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and plans for construction projects and infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze project specifications and requirements.
• Manage and oversee the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure all aspects of a project align with overall goals.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for project updates and stakeholder meetings.
• Implement safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in civil engineering

Skills and Behaviors:

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
