We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Operations Assistant

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract (Remote)
Reporting To: Manager

Job Summary

  • The Business Operations Assistant is a multi-functional role designed to support the daily operations at Cedar-Bridge.
  • She /he will be responsible for bridging the gap between creative production and administrative excellence.
  • This role is a hybrid of project coordination, human resources administration, and financial tracking.
  • The ideal must be a highly organized individual with a knack for building systems and supporting a high-growth creative team.

Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Project Coordination:

  • Assist the Manager in assigning design briefs to the creative team.
  • Assist in managing the creative pipeline by tracking project statuses and deadlines using tools such as Asana, ClickUp, or Bitrix24.
  • Organize and maintain the company’s digital assets (Google Drive/Cloud folders) for easy retrieval by the team.
  • Act as a liaison between the creative team and leadership to ensure everyone has the tools they need to succeed, and to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Document internal processes (SOPs) to improve the efficiency of the creative feedback loop.

People Operations & HR Admin:

  • Assist in posting job openings, organizing incoming applications, and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Assist in issuing offer letters and orientation toolkits; ensure new hires complete all necessary paperwork (including reference forms).
  • Schedule and moderate weekly team check-ins; take and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Monitor employees’ performance and flag areas for review to the Manager.

Financial & General Administration:

  • Record and categorize daily income and expenditure.
  • Monitor client payment dates and send professional reminders for outstanding invoices.
  • Ensure all service agreements and contracts are signed, filed, and up to date.
  • Assist in drafting reports on organizational performance and project milestones.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a virtual/operations/project assistant is highly preferred.
  • Tech-Savviness: Familiar with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive); experience with communication tools (Slack/WhatsApp) and Project Management/CRM tools (Bitrix24, Asana, ClickUp).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism with clients.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Discretion: High level of integrity when handling sensitive HR and financial information.
  • Possess a personal laptop and have access to a stable and reliable internet connection.

Salary & Benefits
